I really liked the first one, didn’t care for the second, but the third was just as good as the first, which is strange because the second and third were directed by the same person. The movie starts off exactly where the 2nd leaves off, so don’t watch this without watching the other first.
The plot in all three movies is roughly the same: Matt Damon running around, kicking ass, car chases, a girl, Bourne chasing his steps back to find out who he really is. Wonderful fight sequences–possibly the best I have seen all year. He beats down a guy using a hardback book. I know it doesn’t sound very tough, but it was fantastic. This was not Damon at his best. His dialogue was kind of half ass, but the plot and all the action made up for it.
All in all, we really liked it and will buy it when it comes out.

This is a hard movie to recommend to others. If you don’t enjoy giant amounts of swearing, and more “cock” jokes than any other in history, this is probably not the film for you. On the other hand I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. The film was very realistic as far as creating superb, realistic dialog and hilarious situations for the young actors. Michael Cera (aka George Michael for all you A.D. Fans) was amazing, i think he is going to be in a lot more movies in the next couple of years. I have to admit that even my calloused mind was taken aback by how much blatant male focused innuendo was spewing from the screen, but maybe it seemed worse because i saw it at the drive-in, for some reason everything seems a little bit more dirty there.
